The Lost Voice
There are good ways to describe the value of something and then there are great ways.
If you haven’t seen this 2 minute video, stop what you’re doing, get a box of Kleenex and watch it. I’ll wait.
This is Apple’s marketing at its best. They have added a feature in iOS 17 that allows people who are in danger of losing their voice (such as those with ALS) to preserve it allowing them to type text and have it speak in their own voice. Rather than just talk about that, Apple lets the technology speak for itself (no pun intended) in a deeply emotional way this makes it impossible not to applaud them for creating a technology that for some is truly life-changing. For a good friend of mine with ALS it could not have come along at a better time since he still has his voice. Apple has done so much more than any other tech company to make technology accessible to those with disabilities that the Apple ecosystem is the goto technology for anyone in that category.
